Quinta do Cume is located in Provesende, a world heritage wine-growing village in the heart of the Douro, on the Cima Corgo.
The project began in 1998 with the purchase of a plot of land in the highest part of Provesende, 650 metres above sea level, to plant white vines with the aim of producing distinctive white wines.
Over the years, in order to fulfil the initial objectives of sustainability and quality, they felt the need to acquire and add plots of land that had been very well selected for this purpose.
It is with the perception and combination of the various vineyard terroirs, of different ages, different production of grapes, often of the same variety, but with different characteristics, that they seek to give the highest quality and expression to the wines they produce.
That's why the top of the range wines are only produced in special years.
Our motto is to
"transform the grapes into their best form of expression"
